An export desk,
a packing line,
a logistics partner.

El Delta is a full-service export house. We do the farming relationships, the harvest scheduling, the sorting, the packing, the cold chain, the documentation and the freight. You receive a container that lands when it should and looks like it should.

i. SOURCING

Farm sourcing & harvest planning

We negotiate volumes, varieties and harvest windows directly with growers across the Nile Delta, Beheira, Fayoum, Ismailia and the south. We plan the calendar before the season — and we honour it.

ii. INSPECTION

Pre-harvest & field inspection

Brix, calibre, firmness and visual checks before fruit leaves the field. If a lot does not meet our spec, we walk away — your container does not pay for it.

iii. SORTING

Sorting, washing & grading

Hand-sorting at our packing house. Visual defect rejection, calibre grading, pre-cooling. Lots are coded so we can recall back to the orchard if needed.

iv. PACKING

Packing to specification

Retail clamshells, individual fruit wrap, mesh bags, telescopic cartons, bulk bins — we pack to your buyer's specification with your private label if required.

v. COLD CHAIN

Cold-chain & pre-cooling

Pre-cooling rooms by product. Reefer pallet loading at +5 °C / +10 °C / -18 °C as required. Temperature data-loggers on every shipment.

vi. FREIGHT

Sea & air freight

Reefer containers from Damietta and Alexandria. Air freight from Cairo for premium short-life cargo. Tracked and reported until offload.

vii. DOCS

Customs & documentation

Phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, commercial invoice, packing list, EUR.1 — issued, scanned and couriered ahead of arrival.

viii. SUPPORT

After-sales support

A bilingual contact for every shipment. Photographs of arrival, claims handled within 48 hours, and a debrief at the end of every season.

ix. PRIVATE LABEL

Private-label programmes

Your brand on our cartons. Custom artwork, custom calibration, custom seasonality — for retail groups, importers and food-service distributors.

How a shipment works
